Scholarship Selection Committee
The
Scholarship Selection Committee plays a key role in determining which
students are chosen as Bettye Reed Destined for Success Scholars.
Members of the Scholarship Selection Committee will meet once a year to
review student applications. Candidates will be evaluated and the
committee will make recommendations to the Board of Directors as to
which students it deems deserving of scholarships. We encourage members
of the community to participate in this committee.
Board of Directors Membership
The
Board of Directors are responsible for setting policies that further
the mission and purpose of the Bettye Reed Scholarship Foundation. The
Board of Directors are expected to be both dedicated fundraisers as
well as dedicated donors. The final decision on awarding scholarships
lies with the Board of Directors.
